Dr Helen Jones

Dr Helen Jones qualified as a General Practitioner in 2004. In addition to general and acute medical care, her specialist interests include women’s health, mental health and wellbeing and preventative medicine.

Following her undergraduate medical training at Clare College, Cambridge University, she travelled extensively in South America and Asia, then moved to London to complete her medical degree at Imperial College School of Medicine. 

After graduating in 1998, Helen spent five years working in various London teaching hospitals including Chelsea and Westminster, Hammersmith and Charing Cross . During this time, she gained experience in a wide variety of medical specialties including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology and Haematology, and gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. To complete her hospital General Practice training, she held posts in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Accident and Emergency.

She went on to obtain Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and gained Diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. 

Outside work she is the mother of three teenage children and particularly enjoys spending time being active in the great outdoors.
